These button earrings are so playful and fun that it’s hard to believe they came off old worn out shirts. I made several pair of these earrings for the ladies in my husbands office for Christmas one year. He works for the Forest Service so I cut the buttons off his old work shirts to create playful earrings that they could wear when they were in uniform. I am also rather nostalgic and I liked the idea that they had an old piece of the Forest Service to take with them when they were out in the field or working with the public. This of course led to other button earrings that display the playful side in all of us whether we are traipsing around the woods or working behind our desks. These button earrings are recycled from old shirts and dresses. The findings are sterling silver and each pair is approximately 1" to 2" long depending on the style. Shape, size and color of buttons vary slightly as each pair is unique.
