I had two very old apple trees by my backdoor that were just buzzing with bees in the springtime. Unfortunately, both trees were rotten and we had to take them down. But….during the springtime it was so amazing to stand under those trees and listen to the bees go about their work. One day I had my son stand under the trees and told him to just be still and listen (he's 8 and standing still is a totally foreign concept) but after several moments (maybe 10 seconds) his eyes filled with wonder and he said with a smile...."BEES!"

This was my inspiration for these busy little recycled glass bumblebee pins. I can't think of a better way to enhance your Spring or Summer attire than with a busy little yellow bee attached to your favorite sweater or pinned on a floppy garden hat.
