| When I think of Halloween I think of pumpkins. Short, fat, long, lean, smooth, bumpy... I just love em! Each recycled glass pumpkin pin has its' own unique characteristics, some are scary, grumpy, timid, and quirky. You name it one of these guys will fit your mood. For example, Monday morning may call for a more grumpy looking one, Wednesday may be looking scary and Friday may call for one with a smile! Let your imagination run wild, if that pin looks like your grumpy old boss... wear it but keep that thought to yourself. Keep it silly and Happy Halloween!
These pumpkins are made from stained glass shards bought second hand at a local garage sale. The glass was a great find as the pieces are larger than I normally work with, which in turn allows me to create bigger pieces. Nothing makes me happier than a great garage sale find!! |
