These upcycled glass earrings are dear to my heart as this style is what started it all for me. I love the variation of color in this pair as it reminds me of the red rocks of Southern Utah. During the day the rocks are vibrant against the blue sky and as the sun goes down they become muted and soft. The piece of glass used for this pair was a scrap of artglass that had so many different reds in it that you would not have guessed that all the colors were in one piece. This style can be worn with so many different outfits that the sky is truly the limit.
If you ever get a chance to see the skies and red rocks of Southern Utah be sure to take advantage of the opportunity. Several years ago we lived in Wyoming at 7200 ft and winter seemed to last forever. We would head to Southern Utah during spring break just to unthaw and get warm. We would soak up the sun like lizards on rocks just so we could return and endure a few more weeks of winter. So if you need a little warmth and sunshine and dream of climbing on red rocks this pair of earrings is what you need!!
These upcycled glass earrings are made from artglass shards. The findings are sterling silver and this pair is approximately 2" long. Shape, size and color of glass vary slightly as each pair is unique.
